Revive Sufi culture: Gohar

Jammu: Leading Pakistani theatre personality Madiha Gohar today called upon the Kashmiri local theatre groups to rejuvenate Sufi culture in the valley.

Addressing an interactive session at Jammu University, Madiha said that her group Ajoka has been able to check hatred between the two countries.

Speaking on the occasion, Shahid Nadeem said that distrust and misgivings between the two countries have been checked. He hoped that since Jammu and Lahore share the culture, the relationship between the two cities would grow in future.

Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included Vice Chancellor Jammu University Amitabh Mattoo and Dean Academic Affairs Devinder Singh.
