Pakistanis can now make it to Ajmer

By M.R. Narayan Swamy, Islamabad: Come January and Pakistanis will be able to travel to the famed Sufi shrine of Ajmer in Rajasthan by train.

The train service between Khokhrapar in Pakistan and Munabao in India is to start in January 2006, India's External Affairs Minister K. Natwar Singh informed Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf at Rawalpindi.

This will make travel easy for Pakistanis intending to visit the Ajmer shrine, which is revered by millions in the subcontinent.

Musharraf travelled to the shrine and prayed there for peace between India and Pakistan during his visit to India in April.
